Whether you've had a professional session before or it's your first time in front of the camera, we are here to guide and pose your every move to capture gorgeous memories of this special time in your life.

Our extensive wardrobe selection is at your disposal and available for your 2-3 look session. Of course, you are more than welcome to bring your own wardrobe to capture your fun and personal style.

Before your session we will get together for your Dress Fitting and Planning Appointment to style your different looks. Maternity sessions are recommended within 28-34 weeks of your pregnancy.

Make sure to reach out with plenty of time to prepare.

Hair and Makeup

To ensure that you look and feel your absolute best during your maternity photo session, a professional hair & makeup artist is included in your session fee. 

You will see your beautiful images at your Ordering Appointment one to two weeks after your session. This is when you will decide how you would like to showcase your pregnancy pictures. All of our printed and digital products are purchased in addition to the session. 

We specialize in wall art, heirloom albums and grandparent gifts, and all of our products are artfully created by our staff designer and re-toucher

The Pod Photography is a modern photo studio specializing in photography for expecting couples. Our maternity photography is fresh, fun and celebrates the joy of the baby within. The majority of our maternity maternity clients come to our Los Angeles photography studio.

We offer both natural light as well as professional studio lighting. Included with your maternity photo shoot is access to our wardrobe of maternity gowns, tops and skirts and luxurious fabric wraps.

Our Los Angeles maternity photographers will work with you before the session during your Session Planning Appointment to plan every detail of the sets and your outfits. We love to get to know you and your style so that we can tell your family's story in your maternity pictures. Our professional photo studio has been capturing artwork for our clients for almost two decades, since 2008. We are an experienced team of professionals: multiple photographers, re-toucher, designer and full-time photo editor. We are also a celebrity maternity photographer and have worked with many actors, celebrity personalities and professional athletes.

In addition to pregnancy photography, our photo studio also takes pictures of newborn babies. These pictures are captured five to ten days after birth to ensure those sweet, sleepy snuggly baby pictures that you see on our website. From classic to whimsical styling, we can bring your vision to life for your newborn's first photo session.
