1. How to I book a session?
Please give us a call at 310-391-4500. To confirm your session we require a non-refundable 50% deposit of your session fee.
2. Will you help me plan my outfits?
Yes, we meet with each client at the studio before your session to get to know you, your style and goals for the photo shoot.
3. How long is my session?
Our family, kids, baby & cake smash sessions are about 60-90 minutes and includes plenty of time to arrive, settle in, and prepare for your session.
4. Do I need to arrive early to feed and dress myself or baby/kids?
No. We schedule all clients with plenty of time to settle in before your session. Please arrive on time for your appointment.
5. Where should I park?
There is metered parking right out front of our studio on Sepulveda Blvd. The meters take credit cards.
6. When will I get to view and order my photos?
About two weeks after your session your images will be presented to you at our studio in our state of the art editing room. We will walk you through the editing process and easily help you pick your favorites for albums, wall art and gifts. As part of our customer service philosophy we do not offer online galleries. We schedule each client for a 90 minute ordering appointment.
7. Why are digital files not included as part of your session fee?
We keep our session fees separate from any products that we offer and then let you decide what you would like to purchase after your session. Everyone wants something different, so we let you decide what is right for your family.
8. When is the best time take one-year photos?
The best age is 10-11 months old. That way you have them in time for your big 1st birthday party.
9. Where do your on-location photos take place?
We have list of amazing locations and are happy to recommend the best one depending on the look you are going for as well as which locations work best for the ages of little one(s) in your family.
10. What do I need to bring to the session?
Yourselves and the outfits that you and your photographer discussed during your design consultation. We have tons of accessories to complete the kiddos’ look, from hats, tutus, ties, suspenders and headbands.
11. Can you come to my house to take photos?
Because of specific lighting that is available in different outdoor locations, we strongly recommend choosing from our list of preferred locations. We know exactly the times of day that work best for your shoot depending on the look you are going for.
12. What if my baby doesn’t cooperate during the photo session?
Remember that we have years of experience with babies and kids of all ages and personalities. We shoot in teams to take the pressure off of you to get those big beautiful smiles, natural poses, and have tons of tricks up our sleeves. However, for a worst-case scenario, if we need to schedule a re-shoot due to a fussy baby, we can schedule a second session at 50% off.
13. What if I need to reschedule my session?
Please give us as much advance notice as possible, for re-scheduling within 48 hours there is a $50 re-scheduling fee and a $100 no-show policy.
